EGGS IN MILK

Egg pudding is a traditional and simple dessert, often considered a lighter version of crème brûlée. They are perfect for those looking for an easy to make dessert in accordance with the totem protocol.

 

Ingredients :

  • 1L of fresh whole milk
  • 5 eggs
  • 70g sugar
  • 1 vanilla pod or vanilla extract

Instructions :

  1. Preheat the oven to 170°C in fan mode. Also prepare a bain-marie by filling a larger dish with hot water to place your baking mold in.

  2. Heat the milk in a saucepan with the vanilla, ensuring that it simmers but does not let it boil.

  3. While the milk is heating, beat the eggs with the sugar in a large bowl until smooth.

  4. Once the milk is hot, pour it gradually over the egg-sugar mixture while stirring constantly to prevent the eggs from cooking too quickly.

  5. Pour the preparation into a mold or ramekins, place them in the bain-marie, then bake for 35 minutesapproximately, until the cream is set.

  6. Let cool before eating, and serve well chilled.
