  2. Steam them for 15-20 minutes, until tender, or roast in the oven with a drizzle of olive oil.
  3. Drain them and place them in a bowl. Mash them with a fork or potato masher.
  4. Add the milk, butter, salt and pepper. Mix until you obtain a smooth and creamy texture.
  5. You can also add spices like cinnamon, ginger or nutmeg to vary the flavors.
