ECZEMA

ECZEMA

Eczema, also known as atopic dermatitis, is a common skin condition characterized by inflammation of the skin, causing itching, redness, and rashes. Several factors, including hormones, stress, inflammation, sleep and nutrition, can play a role in the development and management of eczema.

Inflammation plays a key role, especially in the plate. An inflammatory reaction to food causes itching, redness and disruption of the skin barrier, and will make the skin more prone to irritants and allergens.

Hormones, such as estrogen and thyroid hormones, can influence skin and inflammatory activity. Abnormal hormonal fluctuations during the cycle can make the situation worse.

Stress and sleep should also be taken into account; they can exacerbate eczema symptoms by disrupting the balance of the immune system and increasing inflammation.
